One of the major initiatives of the Computer Society of India is to serve the student community by bridging the gap between academia and industry. CSI Visakhapatnam Chapter promotes various activities among their student branches such as seminars, workshops, conferences, symposium, quiz competition, project competition and many more.

Presently, more than 10 academic institutes are CSI members, out of which around 20 are student branches. All student branches are vibrant and conduct various activities with the support of the CSI Visakhapatnam Chapter. From last few years Visakhapatnam student branches are bagging several CSI Service Awards at the national level through their excellent performance.

CSI Visakhapatnam chapter also conducts various quality training programs for students as well as for faculties. Every year student convention is organized by CSI Visakhapatnam Chapter where all CSI student branches participate and gain knowledge.
